This site is designed to collect as little as possible. You can use every tool on this site without telling us who you are — there is no account, and nothing about your practice is uploaded anywhere.
What stays on your device
Your preferences — meditation duration, bell and background sound choices, display and theme settings — are saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers them between visits. This data never leaves your device, and clearing your browser storage removes it completely.
Sound and timing
All bells and background noises are synthesized live in your browser with the Web Audio API. No audio is recorded, uploaded or streamed to a server.
What we do not collect
- No name, email or account information — there is no sign-up.
- No meditation history or session statistics on our side.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this site, such as which pages are viewed and how the site is accessed. Google Analytics may collect technical information, approximate location and online identifiers, including through cookies or similar technologies. This information is used for aggregated site measurement and is processed by Google under its own privacy policies.
Hosting
This site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like most hosting providers, Cloudflare processes standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver pages securely. These logs are not used by us to identify you.
Advertising in the future
We may introduce advertising (for example, Google AdSense) to help keep the tools free. Advertising services may use cookies to serve and measure ads. If that happens, this policy will be updated first, and advertising will never appear inside a practice session.
Changes to this policy
If we change how data is handled, we will update this page and revise the date above. Significant changes will be noted on the homepage.
